Black Independent Owner (BIO) is a black-owned business that specializes in supporting black-owned businesses. Our magazine and clothing line reflects factors that influence the African American community. With nearly 50 million African Americans in the United States, Black consumers spend more than $1 trillion a year. Imagine how much recycling money within our own community can make a difference. Our mission is to bring awareness and promote the growth of respected black-owned businesses that offer quality products and services to communities.

BIO Clothing 8 and BIO Magazine encourages relationships by supporting black-owned businesses in schools, families, and faith in communities. Our contemporary Urban Wear apparel line for gear for all ages. Our collections of clothing feature an array of styles, colors, and textures, that cater to all sizes. Our polos, t-shirts, hoodies, and hats will coordinate nicely with any wardrobe.

Damien T. Taylor, the President of BIO, is a Designer/Artist with a conceptual approach to urban wear, inspired by his love of the African American traditions.  His goal is to create classic wear with high regard for fashion, quality, and the preservation of custom products
